What we do

Can you add lighting to deck stairs?

Yes — low-voltage LED lights recessed into risers are one of our most popular upgrades. They run on a transformer with a dusk sensor or switch, cost little to operate, and make stairs dramatically safer at night.

My deck stairs feel bouncy — is that dangerous?

Bouncy stairs usually mean stringers are undersized, over-spanned, or pulling away from the deck. It's worth an inspection — stair failures cause real injuries. We'll tell you whether it's a reinforcement job or a rebuild.
