What we do

Sloped, wooded, or 'unusable' parts of a yard are usually the best opportunities. We've turned steep hillsides into fire pit retreats with connecting stairways, built platforms and benches into slopes, and decked around above-ground pools to make them feel built-in.

Every structure gets the same construction standard as our decks: concrete footings, treated framing, and hardware rated for ground contact and weather.

Can you build on a steep or wooded lot?

Yes — sloped and wooded lots are our favorite canvas. Post-and-beam construction lets us build level, usable space over almost any grade without major excavation.

Can you build a deck around my above-ground pool?

Yes. A wrap-around pool deck makes an above-ground pool feel like a built-in — safer entry, space to lounge, and room for towels and chairs. We build them freestanding so the pool structure carries no deck load.

I have an idea that isn't on your list — will you look at it?

Bring it on. If it's made of framing lumber and lives outdoors, we've probably built something like it. The site visit and estimate are free either way.
